In 1975, during the Rolling Stones' Tour of the Americas, Keith Richards wore a shirt that boldly asked, “Who the fuck is Mick Jagger?” It was a rebellious, tongue-in-cheek jab at his bandmate and longtime creative partner. At the time, Mick Jagger was increasingly becoming the face and voice of the band, something that didn’t sit entirely well with Keith, who saw the Stones as a true collaboration. The shirt was both a joke and a statement—a way for Keith to push back against the spotlight and remind everyone that the Rolling Stones weren’t just about one man. It quickly became an iconic moment in rock history, perfectly capturing the band’s wild energy and the complicated, fiery chemistry between its two most famous members.
