Born from the underground leather bars of Chicago, International Mr. Leather (IML) has grown into one of the world’s most iconic celebrations of queer masculinity, brotherhood, and freedom. Founded in 1979 by Chuck Renslow — owner of the legendary Gold Coast bar — IML turned a local contest into a global gathering of leather men, gear enthusiasts, and community leaders.

This collection honors that legacy of strength and visibility. More than a competition, IML is about identity — a space where confidence, consent, and camaraderie define what it means to be powerful. It’s a reminder that pride can wear a harness as easily as a flag.
