Before streaming sites and sanitizers, there was Wild West — Philadelphia’s infamous gay bookstore and adult arcade that offered a different kind of education. Tucked near 9th and Market Streets, it was equal parts curiosity shop and carnal classroom — rows of adult mags, video booths, and a maze of mirrors, screens, and glory holes that defined pre-internet gay nightlife.
