Gay Bob came dressed for the part—earring, flannel shirt, tight jeans, and cowboy boots—reflecting a mix of late-70s style and emerging gay identity. The packaging even included a satirical “coming out” guide, leaning into humor while acknowledging the cultural moment it was born into.
