The Smiths “The Queen Is Dead” T-Shirt
Released in 1986, The Queen Is Dead stands as The Smiths’ defining masterpiece — a mix of wit, melancholy, and defiance that made British indie rock feel both intimate and insurgent. With Morrissey’s poetic fatalism and Johnny Marr’s shimmering guitar work, it turned alienation into an anthem and sadness into style.
The album’s cover — featuring French actor Alain Delon from the 1964 film L’Insoumis — became as iconic as the music itself: romantic, mysterious, and defiantly beautiful.

I have to reiterate just how much I LOVE Branko Brand t-shirts - when I first purchased a Stevie Nicks Bella Donna tee from his now-defunct Etsy store, I was skeptical, as I am with all tees brought sight unseen, but once I receive it I was aghast! I've since purchased three and without a scintilla of a doubt, these tees are simply THE single most comfortable tees I’ve ever worn, and aesthetically the most beautiful too. For as long as this brand exists, I will be a customer.
