Sisters Nightclub was a cornerstone of Philadelphia's LGBTQ+ scene, operating from June 21, 1996, until its closure in August 2013.Located at 1320 Chancellor Street in Center City, it was the city's only full-time lesbian bar during its 17-year tenure.
Spanning three floors and approximately 5,000 square feet, Sisters offered a vibrant mix of dance floors, pool tables, and live performances.It was a haven where women could celebrate birthdays, enjoy karaoke nights, and connect across generations.
