Mainline (Oklahoma City Gay Bar/80's and 90's)

The Mainline was a prominent gay bar in Oklahoma City, situated within the NW 39th Street Enclave, also known as "The Strip" or "The Gayborhood." This area has long been recognized as a central hub for LGBTQ+ nightlife in the region.

While specific records detailing the exact opening and closing dates of the Mainline are limited, it is known that the venue was active during the 1980s and 1990s. During this period, it served as a significant gathering place for the LGBTQ+ community in Oklahoma City. The Mainline was part of a broader network of gay bars and clubs that contributed to the vibrant nightlife and sense of community within the NW 39th Street Enclave.
