This design combines Creed Bratton with the unmistakable late-1990s logo of Creed—turning the name of one of the era's biggest rock bands into an unexpectedly perfect tribute to one of television's strangest characters.
Best known for playing a fictionalized version of himself on The Office, Creed Bratton existed somewhere between mysterious coworker, unreliable narrator, former cult member, possible fugitive, and man who may or may not have known what his actual job was. His bizarre observations and unexplained personal history made him one of the show's most memorable characters despite often appearing for only a few moments at a time.
Long before The Office, however, Bratton was already a genuine musician. As a member of the 1960s rock group The Grass Roots, he performed on major hits, toured nationally, and appeared on records including Let's Live for Today and Midnight Confessions. The fact that the world's most unpredictable fictional quality-assurance director also had a real rock-and-roll career somehow makes the joke even better.
