Backstreet Bar was P‑Town’s beloved underground gem—a cozy, blond-wood haven tucked just off Commercial Street that became a favorite for laid-back nights, dark corners, and welcoming crowds. Though its exact opening and closing years remain elusive, this intimate spot comfortably sat in Provincetown's queer scene during the 70's, 80's and 90's.
