Tucked into the quiet hills of Bellows Falls, Vermont, Andrews Inn was the unlikeliest of gay havens — a country inn turned disco, drag stage, and safe house for a generation hungry to dance without fear. From the mid-1970s through the early ’80s, it drew travelers from Boston to Montreal with its mix of small-town charm and full-throttle nightlife: go-go boys one night, political meetings the next.
