A Taste of Leather in San Francisco was more than a sex shop—it was a cornerstone of the city’s burgeoning leather scene. Established in 1967 above Fe‑Be’s, it was one of the first in-bar leather stores in the nation, offering fetish fashion, gear, and a gateway into SoMa’s legendary subculture . Located at 2380 Market St, it stood for over four decades before closing its doors in 2010.
