Situated at 510 W Anaheim Street in Wilmington, 1350 Club was a beloved queer bathhouse and social space that served gay, bisexual, and queer men (and all who found community there) for decades. Originally revived in 1986 by owner Glen Moering after earlier closures and renovations, the club became known for its steam room, sauna, TV lounge, sun deck, lockers, and private rooms, offering both a place to relax and a rare, round-the-clock space for connection in Southern California.
Open 24 hours, 7 days a week with amenities like free HIV & STD testing at times, it wasn’t just a bathhouse — it was a meeting ground, refuge, and slice of queer SoCal nightlife where friendships were formed long before apps and nightlife shifts transformed how people socialize.
Though the doors closed around 2022, 1350 Club lives on in memory as a space that kept its doors — and hearts — open all hours. This hoodie pays tribute to a place of steam, sun, sanctuary, and community.
