His longtime partner, \u003cstrong\u003eDom Orejudos\u003c\/strong\u003e, was also the celebrated erotic artist \u003cstrong\u003eEtienne\u003c\/strong\u003e, whose illustrations of muscular men, leather gear, and exaggerated masculine fantasy helped define the visual language of gay leather culture.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Gold Coast wasn't simply a bar.
